ANNUAL COUNCIL REGISTRATION DEADLINE - JANUARY 10

The 120th Annual Council will be held February 10-11, 2012 at the Williamsburg Lodge. Online registration is now open. You can find more information about Annual Council and a link to the online registration at diosova.org. Register before January 10 to avoid late fees!  If there are delegates who need financial assistance with Council costs, please contact the Bishop's office, 757-213-3381 or bishop@diosova.org.

    Youth Delegation to Annual Council applications are due January 9. Each year a delegation of up to 12 youth in grades 9-12 are invited to attend Annual Council. Application forms can be found on Youth Resources & Forms page of our website

NEW EVENT REGISTRATION, PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY

Diocese of Southern Virginia has a new Event Registration, Payment & Refund Policy in place. In addition to policies around payment, refunds and cancellations, it offers guidance on how to register online for an event. The policy applies to all diocesan events. MISSION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT SEEKING LAPTOP COMPUTERS  The Mission of the Holy Spirit is seeking the donation of a few laptop computers for kids who are looking at colleges and applying for jobs. ECF FELLOWSHIP 2012 APPLICATION PROCESS OPEN Engaging Leaders Transform Lives. That's why for more than four decades Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) has provided financial support to emerging scholars planning teaching ministries throughout the Church. And why ECF supports lay and clergy innovators who are revitalizing communities of faith. Through the Fellowship Partners Program, ECF awards fellowships for academic and transformational ministries. In return, Fellows share their knowledge, experience, and best practices with the wider Church in practical ways. The emphasis is on partnerships that will have an important impact in their local communities and beyond, and enhance lay and clergy leadership formation. The 2012 application process is now open. Applications are due by March 15, 2012
