We Welcome All Sorts and Conditions of FolkSt. Mark's is an intentionally welcoming community. We were the first parish in the Diocese of Southern Virginia to affiliate with Integrity, an organization dedicated to affirming and encouraging full participation in the life of the Church by LBGTQ folk.
We are diverse socioeconomically, racially and in our experience of God's presence in the world and in our lives. We find our common life and ministry in how we live out the Baptismal Covenant which calls all Christians to be Ministers of the Good News of God in Christ. |
We Seek To Serve Christ in All People,
Loving Our Neighbors as We Love Ourselves
As We Continue in the Apostles' Fellowship and Teaching
We seek to serve Christ in all persons, while looking respecting the dignity of every human being according the promises of our Baptismal Covenant.

The Apostles' teaching and fellowship helps to form us individually and as a community. We commit seeking to become a community that re-presents Christ to the world as the Body of Christ, the Church.
