St. Mark's worships in the Anglican tradition using element of the Book of Common Prayer. The Eucharist is our central act of worship. We gather at the table weekly on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to Celebrate the Real Presence of Christ in our midst.

All seeking a relationship with Christ and the Church are welcome at our table.

We Welcome All Sorts and Conditions of Folk

Picture
St. Mark's is an intentionally welcoming community. We were the first parish in the Diocese of Southern Virginia to affiliate with Integrity, an organization dedicated to affirming and encouraging full participation in the life of the Church by LBGTQ folk.

We are diverse socioeconomically, racially and in our experience of God's presence in the world and in our lives. We find our common life and ministry in how we live out the Baptismal Covenant which calls all Christians to be Ministers of the Good News of God in Christ.

About Us

We Seek To Serve Christ in All People,
Loving Our Neighbors as We Love Ourselves
As We Continue in the Apostles' Fellowship and Teaching

We seek to serve Christ in all persons, while looking respecting the dignity of every human being according the promises of our Baptismal Covenant.
Outreach
The Apostles' teaching and fellowship helps to form us individually and as a community. We commit seeking to become a community that re-presents Christ to the world as the Body of Christ, the Church.

We Share Ministry Locally, Nationally and Worldwide

Whether it is supporting the work of H.E.L.P (Hampton Ecumenical Lodging and Provisions) by hosting our homeless neighbors during the cold weather season, sponsoring our monthly community meal for folks in the Coliseum Central area, collecting funds each Good Friday to support the mission and ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem or supporting the work of African Team Ministries
